L2 Diploma in Art and Design 2015
This gallery contains a small snippet of the kinds of work made by students studying full-time art and design at Level 2. This year's groups have made fantastic progress, developing the study skills, the discipline and the skills and motivations required to progress to higher levels of study. You'll see from their profiles how art and design is shaping these students' progression plans. On this course you will be introduced to a wide range of art and design practice. It is a very practical programme which includes drawing, painting, printmaking, fashion and textiles, graphic design, illustration and 3D design crafts, as well as digital media and photography. This experience will help you to make decisions about subsequent progression. As well as gaining experience of a wide range of approaches to these subjects and an insight into the creative industries, you will gain experience in tackling assignments, evaluating your own and others' work, and preparing for the independent study needed at level 3. You will also go on several field trips for visual research and contextual study.
